Event logo

The Portuguese edition of ARCO, established in Madrid since 1982, brings together nearly 80 galleries from 14 countries. This edition also reinforces the curating of the fair's two sections, namely Africa in Focus, under the direction of Paula Nascimento, which will include the participation of galleries from the African continent, and Opening Lisboa, under the direction of Chus Martínez and Luiza Teixeira de Freitas, which will explore new artistic languages and spaces.

L'Atelier 21 is taking part in this event to promote the contribution of Moroccan artists to the development of an African art scene. For its first participation in this 6th edition, L'Atelier 21 is exhibiting works by artists M'barek Bouhchichi, Safaa Erruas, Najia Mehadji and Yamou.
