AKAA Art Fair: Paris, France
Overview
L’Atelier 21 has been selected to participate in AKAA – Also Known As Africa, the contemporary art and design fair, taking place from 11 to 13 November 2016 at Le Carreau du Temple in Paris.
The first contemporary art and design fair in France dedicated to Africa, AKAA was created to give greater visibility to African artistic production while providing collectors and museum institutions with the opportunity to acquire works by African artists or works whose subject matter is rooted in Africa. AKAA stands as a manifesto in support of artists from the African continent, the African diaspora, and those whose creative practices maintain a meaningful connection with Africa.
